Inspira Ensemble

The Inspira Ensemble is a resident company of Theatre for Transformation. Dynamic and genre crossing, Inspira Ensemble marries concert music from classical and jazz traditions with social justice, art, theatre and community singing.

The group’s performance of Inspira: Power of the Spiritual celebrates the power of the African-American spirit globally.

Inspira is currently developing a new production, “We the People…14”, a multi-disciplinary performance commemorating the 150th anniversary of the 14th Amendment of the Constitution. It will debut in 2018.

Formed in 2014, the ensemble was added to TFT’s projects beginning in 2015.
